Akeli Mat Jaiyo (1963)

Seema lives in a working woman's hostel. Seema sells dolls which are manufactured by her father and she returns to her hostel on time and has no social life. Seema is pranked and teased by her fellow room-mates where Shobana is concerned about Seema. Shobana persuades Seema to lie to the girls that she is engaged and is to meet her fiancee who is an army officer. Seema goes along the plan forcibly and meets an army colonel Rajinder, whom she reveals her story to and act as her friends spy on her. Rajinder and Seema actually fall in love and their meet is publicized in papers, as he bears resemblance to the prince. Both Seema and Rajinder are put in difficult positions as they work through their lies, and Rajinder has to impersonate the prince to steal for gangsters who threaten to kill his mother.
