Atli Örvarsson is an Icelandic film score composer. He scored the award-winning feature Rams (Hrútar). The son of two musicians, Atli studied music in in his home country where he learned to play the musical instruments. He later became a member of one of the country's most popular bands: Sálin hans Jóns míns. Atli's credits include composing and orchestrating music for some of Hollywood's biggest projects, including the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Angels & Demons, The Holiday, The Eagle, The Fourth Kind, and many more. He excelled in composing and was awarded the Pete Carpenter Fellowship, which brought him to Los Angeles. Some of Atli's greatest influences in music are J.S. Bach, Pink Floyd, Ennio Morricone and Trevor Horn. He worked as a music composer in the movies like "The Hitman's Bodyguard", The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and The Perfect Guy.
