John Chamber's comes to terms with the reality of his six-year-old son being suddenly abducted and tries to find his salvation on the real world, when he makes attempts to reunite with his family within the alternate dimension created by his sleep paralysis. Affected by sleep paralysis and trapped within his own nightmare, John begins to meet other worldly beings which exist in the darkest shadows of the night. He attempts to uncover the horrific secret to save his son before the shadow people permanently take him away to their world.
