Dwight (Macon Blair) has spent the past few years wandering aimlessly and has ended up as a beach vagrant, living out of his car and scavenging through trash cans and dumpsters.
His seemingly peaceful demeanor changes when he discovers that Wade Cleland, Jr. is going to be released from prison. Immediately, Dwight returns home to Virginia, stealthily identifies and kills Wade, which prompts the victim's family to go after Dwight and his family as revenge.
