This touching yet tragic drama delves into the extraordinary relationship between Dr Sandeep, a dedicated and forthright oncologist, and Devan, his terminally ill patient. Dr Sandeep is an honest and committed physician who is happier dealing with genuine suffering than with the rich and their imagined ailments. He is blunt to a fault and does not conceal a patient's true predicament from him or her, regardless of the seriousness of the condition. One day, his friend, who is also a doctor, introduces him to Devan who is dying from intestinal cancer. Dr Sandeep is struck by Devan's good cheer and is shocked to learn that Devan is aware of his true condition. Devan and Dr Sandeep become fast friends and Devan decides to bring happiness into Sandeep's life. Sandeep had once cured Deepa of pneumonia. He fell in love with her but was unable to propose to her.The question remains, will Devan succeed in bringing Dr Sandeep and Deepa together before his time runs out?
