The movie, set against the backdrop of north Chennai, narrates the story of several characters that live in and around housing colony. Sathya, an aged don who’s powerful enough to control the local politicians, his estranged lady love Geetha, Jail Pandi, Nayudu, an ex-army man, and so on. Pandi, who falls in love with Nayudu’s daughter, Jeni, dreams of marrying her. Despite several warnings from Jeni and Nayudu, Pandi confesses his feelings for her. How he tries to convince her forms the rest of the story.
