Gehra Daag (1963)

Shankar has two sister's, Usha and Asha. Shankar and Usha go to the same college. Shankar comes across a man named Ram who misbehaves with Usha and even attempts to rape her, during which they engage in a fight and Shanker kills Ram. Shankar goes to jail for 14 years and due to his good behavior gets released within 10 years and comes back home. On the way he comes across a woman who trips from her boat and upon saving her they both fall in love. Shankar goes home to a warm welcome but Usha has mentioned to everyone that Shankar had been employed to Africa and he's returned back. Usha is already married to a man named Ramesh. Ramesh has looked up a suitable man to be married to Asha. Wedding proceedings go on but get interrupted when some people learn the truth of Shankar's absence. What will happen to Asha's wedding and What will happen to Shankar's future now??
