Jim and his daughter Veronica, a young high school music teacher attempt to unravel their complicated histories and intertwined secrets as she gets falsely convicted for abusing her power of authority on a 17-year-old Clive. Veronica is ready to be punished for a crime she didn't commit and frustrated by her intransigence, Jim’s anguish begins to impinge on his job as a food inspector.
