Into The Heart Of Shiva is an observational documentary filmed in the holy city of Varanasi, India. It captures the exotic and beautiful daily rituals of the people who make their home on the Ganges, the river of heaven. The film takes the viewer upriver and into the ancient stone pathways of the old city to observe the activity of the locals and the pilgrims who make puja before India's greatest God, Shiva. Into The Heart Of Shiva is an adventure of images and sounds that are seamlessly woven together to create a meditative exploration of one of the oldest inhabited cities on earth.
