Kanchenjungha Express (2015)

This radical, woman centric suspense thriller revolves around the trials and triumphs in the life of Nandini, an NGO worker. Nandini is a simple kind-hearted woman, who has faced a great deal of abuse and exploitation from the man in her life, including a terribly traumatic marriage. Over the years, her simplicity and generosity of spirit have transformed into strength and resilience, due to the tough situations she has had to repeatedly face in life. Strong, wilful and independent, the crux of the tale daringly depicts how she handles three exceedingly tough circumstances while on a train journey, in the famous Kanchanjhangha Express.
