This socially relevant family drama evocatively depicts the trials and travails in the life of Satheeshan, a well-educated and intelligent young man from an impoverished family. His father, who has spent his life as a headmaster in a government school, has sacrificed everything for his family. Now, it is his son Satheeshan's turn to take over the financial burden of the family.
Through Satheeshan's example this movie provides an incisive and insightful picture into the struggle of well-qualified but unemployed youth in India, who are stuck in a terrible situation, due to rampant corruption and bribery in the government machinery.
