Laila Majnu (1953)

This Intense Romantic drama follows a man who informs two young lovers of the story of Laila and Majnu. Laila and Majnu were two childhood friends from opposing clans who fell deeply in love with each other. Their relationship were objected by their fathers who despise each other and plotted to separate the two inseparable lovers. Majnu disguises himself as a beggar to meet Laila but gets caught. The Prince of Iran meets Laila, falls in love with her wishing to marry her. The film focuses on the heart rendering tale of two lovers Laila and Majnu who were forced to separate by their parents.
