Pattampoochi (2010)

A student film by the MS Communication (Broadcast Journalism) 1st year students of Manipal Institute of Communication. In this short film, the protagonist Vaidehi, is an ambitious bharatanatayam dancer, whose dreams are shattered after she enters into the cocoon called marriage. Trying hard to be the docile wife, she realizes her true calling, and decides to not let her art, which defines her very existence, be snatched away from her. Just like a butterfly, she moves out of her cocoon, in perusal of her dream, and moves on, forgetting about the last flower.
