Peter Dinklage is an American actor who is most famous for playing Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, which earned him the Emmy and the Golden Globe Award for Supporting Actor in 2011. He grew up in Morristown, New Jersey. He moved to New York City in 1991 to work in theater. In 1995, Dinklage made his film debut in Living in Oblivion. His next major career breakthrough came with 2003's The Station Agent.
