Sharabi (1964)

Keshav is part of a poor family consisting of his father dinanath, mother and younger sister munni. After his father passes away keshav promised to stop his alcoholic ways much to the relief og his mother and love kamala. Kamala's father agrees to wed his daughter to Keshav but stops the marriage after he learns that he had relapsed to his alcoholic ways. Keshav relapses to alcoholism, due to which his mother threatens to leave town and Kamala's father passes away with a promise that she should marry anyone else other than Keshav. Keshav now on the path of self destruction, may endanger the lives of the coal mine workers since the entire community has blacklisted him.
