Shatranj (1956)

Pratap chandra chaudhary, is a wealthy and arrogant man who owns a coal mine and engages in criminal activities without getting caught. One day he purchases a Rolls Royce and hires a driver. His daughter Sandhya finds the driver fascinating as he doesn't behave or act like a driver and his ideals change her mind against her arrogant and evil father. Sandhya decides to revolt against her father, by marrying her driver and returning home. A proud chaudhary learns the true identity and dies in shock.
