This evocative family-oriented drama is set nearly 2 decades back, a time before the massive influence of mobile phones, News channels and modern technology, and delves into the trial and triumphs in the life of Unni Madhavan (Dileep), a local reporter of an average selling daily. This touching tale eloquently depicts his struggles to find the perfect work-life balance. Unable to provide enough time to focus on his job or to take care of his pregnant wife, he is eaten up by guilt and frustration. In the meantime, Vimala (Gopika), who had shown great trust and faith in him when she courageously married him without the consent of her parents, is more often than not, left alone to fend for herself. The couple have virtually no one to help them, and completely unable to cope both on the career and the personal front, he now stands the risk of messing up his entire life. Will he succeed in finding a satisfactory solution?
