Tamasha (1952)

Dilip is the grandson of Rai Bahadur and he falls in love with a dancer named Nayanthara who aspires to become an actress. Nayanthara uses the help of Dilip to produce her movie and deceives him by her love when she actually loves the famous actor Ashok kumar, but has to marry Dilip for his money. Rai Bahadur in a fit to save Dilip from the unscrupulous gang fakes a health condition and asks him to bring the colleague whom he claims to love (a lie uttered by Dilip to secretly meet Nayanthara). Nayanthara uses her director to arrange a woman for this meet, hires a poor woman named Kiran. Kiran meets Rai bahadur who takes a liking to her and arranges her to be in the household. Dilip witnesses the true colors of Nayanthara and eventually falls in love with Kiran. Rai Bahadur arranger for Kiran to marry Dilip, but Dilip is blackmailed by Nayanthara and her mother who threaten to go to court and inform Rai Bahadur. Will Dilip succeed in escaping the traps of Nayanthara and marry his true love Kiran??
