Varun Dhawan

Indian actor Varun Dhawan, is the son of Hindi film director David Dhawan, is a graduate in Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University. He has worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 drama film 'My Name is Khan' after which he made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Karan's romantic comedy film 'Student of the Year' alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Varun has established himself as a performer with the 2015, Sriram Raghavan directed thriller drama 'Badlapur', for which he had received critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Actor nomination for his performance. He has also revealed his exemplary dancing skills in ABCD: Any Body Can Dance franchise. Aside from acting, Varun has also presented and co-hosted the award ceremonies - Filmfare, Screen, and Stardust awards. He has also actively participated in various social service events to raise funds for the flood-affected victims of Uttarakhand.
