Aakhri Sangram (1984)

This emotionally charged romantic drama revolves around the loves and losses in the life of Pushpa, a quiet and beautiful young woman, who lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed father. When the time is right for her to be married, her father chooses a groom for her, Mohan. Everyone assumes that Pushpa and Mohan will get married soon and lead a comfortable and happy life. The twist in the tale happens when Pushpa meets Raja, a performer travelling with a group of entertainers, whom she gets to meet at a birthday party. The couple are instantly attracted to one another, and fall madly in love. The would-be groom Mohan is incensed by the rejection and wants Raja's entire troupe destroyed. To add to their hurdles, Raja's mother, Subha Lakshmi used to work as a maid servant in Pushpa's palatial home, and it is her father's condition that she must walk out of Raja's life before they can be married. Subha Lakshmi is willing to sacrifice for the sake of her son's happiness, but will Raja agree to marry Pushpa under these circumstances?
