Fast paced and action oriented, this thrilling drama revolves around the adventures and exploits in the life of Raja (Rajinikanth). He is a talented thief, with a special expertise in burglarising treasures. His girlfriend, the gorgeous Radha has no idea of the criminal nature of his profession, and is deeply anguished when he is suddenly sentenced to 2 years in prison by a canny police officer, Rajasingam. Meanwhile, another criminal Amar, a widower whose daughter is studying in a boarding school, decides to go straight. Amar and Radha become close to each other, and he falls in love with her, but then realises that her heart is still with Raja. When he gets out of prison, Raja still has ghosts from his criminal past terrorising him. Raja and Amar become good friends after they are forced to join hands for one last job, in order to save Amar's kidnapped daughter. Will their final heist go according to plan? Will the duo succeed in outwitting their enemies and reach safety?
